NCSC said in a post on its Facebook page: โ€œone click makes your device
vulnerable to hackers.โ€

It urged Jordanians to verify the links before opening them.

Separately, NCSC warned of scams from a fake social media page called โ€œJordan
Nowโ€, claiming to be affiliated with the National Aid Fund.

On the page, citizens are urged to register for a monthly aid program sponsored
by the fund online, claiming that a number of citizens will benefit from a
Royal grant to be disbursed immediately following registration.

The page includes a fake electronic link with the name of the fund, and claims
to require only a phone number for registration.

The center cautioned the public to verify the second party as a reliable source,
and not to share personal information with any suspicious parties.
