Failed check in on line re my flight from Athens to Gatwick on 18 January,2023 Wizzair W95746

Dear Sir, I am writing to complain to WIZZAIR about the above flight booking I made with you and the fraudulent manner I believe I have treated by Whizzair as follows. In accordance with the required process for the above return flight I was wrongly given no option but to pay an additional charge of 48 Euros for a return ticket I had already purchased . I had previously successfully checked in online for the Wizzair outward flight dated 14 January from Gatwick to Athens . I received email notification from Trip.com (booking agent) on the 17th and 18th January advising me of the same check in process for my return i.e where no seat allocation was required I could only check in 48 hrs prior to the flight date/time. As advised I tried to check in on line via the Wizz website ,an additional link supplied by Whizz and via the WizzApp many many times but each time I was unable to due so .I also tried the recommended Wizz virtual assistant 5 times ,but each time the system reported there was no operator available. Although each time I was able to purchase a selected seat for 29.90 Euros,I was unable to select an unallocated seat which I had already purchased when making my Trip booking . The Whizzair systems will be able to confirm my many attempts prior to the 48 hr check in window. I therefore had no option but to check in at the airport. At Athens airport I explained the problem at the Wizzair check in desk to be advised that although many other people had experienced the same problem I would have to pay 48 euros for another ticket via the Swiss port agency on site that was approx x 2 the cost of my original ticket.See attached receipts. Despite disputing this at check in there was no Wizzair representative available to assist me. I requested the contact details for Wizzair from Swissport so I could raise my dispute with them directly .See attached. As you can see there was no email contact address given or a correct UK telephone number that would have a preface of +44 I look forward to hearing from and receiving the refund ASAP.

A company that does not bear the consequences of its mistakes

Good evening , it is very bad that you took money from my account 4 times. I have sent several e-mails and contacted you more than once. I went to your company at the airport and in Varna Mall, and I did not receive any useful response, knowing that it cost me time and money. Unfortunately, your company put me in an embarrassing and very tiring situation because of your technical error. I want you to find a solution as soon as possible or a refund My entire money back. I booked a plane ticket on 27/01/2023 from Bulgaria Varna to Belgium and I booked from Belgium to Varna 10/02/2023. Your company has taken money from my account four times. I tried to contact you via chat I didn’t find any solution sadly !! I call your call centre It cost me a lot of money, and no one received my call after more than 20 minutes, knowing that the price per minute is 1.20 sadly!!! I want a solution from you as soon as possible please and I want to know if the reservation is valid. And I want to compensate me for this mistake that you caused me. Knowing that I went to the bank 4 times to inquire about the reason. This cost me time, effort and transportation And I want to add that I live with anxiety because of these circumstances, and I don’t know if my reservation was valid. And I am in anxiety from 18/01/2023

COMPLAINT CUSTOMER SERVICE/STAFF LUTON INTERNATIONAL AURPORT

Dear Sir Madam, I am writing with a grave concern and complaint of the service that I and my family received from the staff of Wizzair at Luton international airport on Saturday the 14th of January. Because of severe weather conditions in the Wales and Bristol area a 2 ½ hour journey that would normally take from the Swansea rail station to London Paddington station (2.1/2hours) took over 6 hours. This causing A delay of our arrival at Luton International Airport. The estimated time of arrival from Swansea via London Paddington to Luton International airport was to be 11.40. However, because of the sever weather causing floods on parts of the rail between Bridgend /Cardiff and Bristol / Swindon, thus causing delays to travel meant that the time of arrival at Paddington was delayed by 4 hours (12.45.) Realising the delay would mean missing the check in of our luggage at Luton airport we paid £155.00 for a taxi from Reading to Luton International Airport We arrived at the Wizzair checking in station 35 to be told to go to stand 30 who had just closed 1 minute before. We was assured by a member of the Wizzair staff that the check in employee would accept our luggage despite just Closing 1 MINUTE EARLIER. He was still sat at the booking in position ! BUT HE REFUSED to accept the two cases booked in. Instead he sent us to another employee and department of Wizzair who could arrange for the luggage to follow us on a separate flight. (At a cost) This lady, whose attitude was obtuse, to a passanger before us, continued with this could not care attitude, refused to give any support and sent us to another office where for a fee of £60 would store the case. TIME IS PASSING US BY AND WE HAD YET TO GET THROUGH SECURITY. By the time we eventually got through security the gate had closed. We had to then try and book a flight with WIZZ air and was told no flights until Tuesday 17th January. We then had to book with another travel agency at a cost of £1297.00 plus the cost of a hotel, at a cost of £36.99 plus the cost of travel from Luton to Gatwick £36 Total costs to us £1366.99, all because a member of your staff refused to understand the lengths and frustrations of delays to get to the departure and check in at the airport ..there was no effort to help us, .. no empathy for what we had already experienced and down right rudeness and reluctance to come to our assistance I am asking for compensation, and have been advised by legal services that we are entitled to financial remuneration for the lack of professional support in a very stressful situation. Canceled fight

I had two flights one from Kaunas to London and the other from London to Kaunas. The flight from London to Kaunas was changed and I wanted to cancel only one flight but it cancelled me both of them! Now the flight to London is much more expensive and Im asking to return back my flight to London in the same price I paid for it before. IY93JY conformation number

Cancelled flight

We booked a flight for 11 people from Tel Aviv to Bari in august. Wizz air has cancelled all flights to this airport. We have booked a family holiday so have to fly to Italy. Wizz air says you can book to fly to a comparable airport but it is impossible to effect this online. No idea if calling their ridiculously overpriced call centre will help

Dear Wizzair, I have problem. I was trying to buy tickets for past 2 days from Vien to London Gatwick and bag and the payment did not got through 3 times. So I tried again this morning and it showed it didn’t go through and when you tried again – and first one yours system show me, that payment didn´t go trought, so I tried it again and I tried change time of flight and than your system show me, that two payment trouhght. Lost Baggage compensation

I want compensation for the delay/loss of my baggage. On the 30th of december 2022, I arrived to my destination with a 2 hours delay. When I went to the Carousel to take my Baggage, it wasnt there. I completed a PIR at the airport, then on the 3rd of january 2023 I started submitting lost Baggage claims on their site. 19th of january update: no answer, my luggage hasnt been found.
