Charge after returning rental

Hi I returned my Lyft rental car on 8/31 because when I picked it up on 8/24 my background check was still in process and it came back unsatisfactory so I was charged the $354 but could not drive to earn money. My question is would it be possible to get the full $446.72 refunded due to not being able to work?

My insurance is not expired. Why i can’t activate my account.

Many times I submit my car insurance. It is not expire yet. It will be expire on July 17,2022. Also I renewed my insurance which will be expire on January 17th, 2023. Why i can’t activate my account. Thank you.

Unreasonably charged

I was opening the Lyft app checking a location and charged 35 dollars for a ride I never ordered. I looked further into the charge and I was charged twice for rides I had paid for the day before on 6/30 which were 17 dollars to the destination and back. I would like a refund in full for being charged again for trips already paid for in full.

Driver left us and took off

The driver Gary we had left us at the first stop that we paid for we paid for 2 stops and that’s what we should have received out of this never use lyft n the timer started and we had 2 minutes remaining on our time the driver was outside when we left the building and looked at us and laughed as he proceeded to speed off and leave us at this location we paid for our ride the correct way and we got treated very badly and left I want my money back from either lyft or from the driver I find this to be very unprofessional

User’s recommendation: Never use lyft it was the worst experience ever they ripped me off and took my money.

Unauthorized Charges

My credit card was charged twice for serves through Lyft service that was unauthorized. I do not have an account with Lyft my information was fraudulent used for rides. I tried calling the number listed for the charges and was not successful in contacting Customer Service. I only could connect to computer voices. Bottom line is that i was charged for service and it was not for me. R/ Angela Beccles

Issues with gift card

Two days ago I had reached out to customer support over the app due to an issue inputting a gift card. I had received 5 gift cards with $100 each ($500 all together). Only 4 would go through. I reached out trying to figure out why the last one wouldn’t load onto my account. The person I spoke with said this would have to be taken to those that are more suited to handle the issue and that I would get an email shortly. That was two days ago. I have not heard anything since and I’m still short that $100.

Trouble with express pay.

Last night I drove Lyft for about 3-4 hrs. I tried cashing out, but the app told me I needed to update the card on file. I re-entered the card information and it still said the same thing.

I need to change my licence plate. I have a new car with temp plates and no registration sticker because my plates aren’t in yet. It won’t let me change the temp plates. I don’t have a reg. Sticker yet.

Charged Twice

I had scheduled a Lyft Thursday night for Friday, July 1st for 7:50 AM. There was a pending charge that was executed before 7:50 AM pickup time. I requested a Lyft ride this evening at approximately 5:45 PM. Once the evening pick from the MBTA Train Station was confirmed immediately after, a pending charge identical to the the 7:50 AM charge was initiated in the amount of $20.89 & the execution of the evening ride with an approximate amount of $16-17 dollars! This pending status should not had been attempted at to separate timeframes for the same ride

I would like my money back they charge me for no reason

I went to the casino this morning and they kept on switching drivers and they never picked me up and they took third $37 that’s the reason
