Woodforest National Bank

I am a small business owner and have been with Woodforest National Bank for 18 months. I am in the processes of securing a contract to services individuals with intellectual and cognitive disabilities. As one could imagine, this population can easily become targeted and are often in vulnerable and at-risk situations.

One of the requirements needed to provide service is a line of credit in the name of the business. As a new business during a pandemic this has been a challenge. After finding out that Woodforest did secured lines of credit, that seemed to be the best route. Well, that has not been the case. After getting the run arounds and conflicting information on how to start the process (first 3 months) we started the process. Now almost another 6 months we are still awaiting to establish a line of credit. We are on our 5th loan application and 4th CD. We have clients we cannot services and many of them are in less-than-optimal conditions. It’s line waiting in line for 6 months.
